Dear All,
Today I would like to inform you regarding the charity art auction
organized by my affiliated Japanese gallery, “GALLERY 21”.
This auction is organized for the purpose of fund raising for the
recent disaster strike in Japan.
Anybody can participate and of course those in the overseas can take
bids as well.
It has been half a month since occurrence of the Tohoku Region Pacific
Coast Earthquake.
We are sending our thoughts and prayers to those in the affected areas
and wishing for their relieved life and smiles to be back.
I have deeply recognized our beautiful everyday life and appreciate
having life in peace.
Today, Tokyo had a clear and sunny sky without a peck of cloud.
I hope we will be able to call the day like this "peaceful" again in
casual feeling.
As a photographer resides in Tokyo, I have decided to contribute to
the society through my photographic activity.
I believe "what artist can do is to create saving space by the form of fiction".
For the duration of one year (April 1st, 2011 to March 31st, 2012), my
affiliated gallery "GALLERY 21" will be donating 10% of all profits to
the charity. First, we will conduct this donation for a year, and then
consider our appropriate action from the later situation.
I am also participating art project from Tokyo called “Forest among us”.
I will inform you regarding this project later on.
I hope to connect with many people though my artistic activity.
I appreciate your warm support and cooperation.
Thank you.
